This is the one for flour, sugar, rice, etc. Holds a good amount and is very sturdy. Same quality as other products in the line. Takes up space, so some other sizes may be more practical than this one. I was able to convert to some smaller sizes and free up space in the pantry by not using as many of this size; only when they were the truly right size. The product name uses the word “bowls”, but these are jars, not bowls.The pack I received for review was the one including an additional three smaller jars.Although they are marketed to use for baby food, they can be used for storing any food at all. They arrived just in time to store Christmas leftovers. We have some cranberry sauce in one, a small amount of potato salad in another and a few mixed veg in a third.The lids are a perfect fit, so no odour can escape; as they are silicon, they are flexible enough to pop on and off very easily with no effort, but they also stay in place.The jars are made of borosilicate glass, so they are virtually unbreakable. You can use them in the microwave, the fridge or the freezer without worrying if they are going to shatter due to temperature shock. We have not heated them in the microwave straight from the freezer, but the description says “no need to wait for the food to thaw out in the refrigerator before heating.”The lids have cat faces on them, which as a cat family appeals to use, and the ears have a practical purpose - little tabs to help remove the lids easily.We will be using these for years.
