For future maintenance, simply rinse the pan with water after use and scrub gently with a soft-bristled brush or sponge if necessary (No need for soap!). It is not recommended to put these pans into the dishwasher as it will remove the seasoning, reduction the natural nonstick and making the pan more susceptible to rust. Should you find rust on the pan, like natural cast iron, this can be normal. Just clean the rust off with a scrubby sponge and season the area with vegetable oil.

This, for me, is the perfect in-between fit because I like temperature control and our All-Clad pans stay hot for a pretty long time. This pan, on the other hand, is very responsive but still retains heat, so it hits the sweet spot in terms of size (not splashing all over the counter because the pan is pretty big), weight (because it feels a lot lighter than our equivalent All-Clad Copper Core), and responsiveness (in terms of turning down the heat or adjusting up and down as you're cooking multiple items in a frying pan). There is no safer and better way to cook than a set of pans like these. You never have to worry about getting cancer with these. I have bought the most expensive, highly rated no stick pans and after a few years use, they ALL started to peal and scratch, even using the proper tools. These pans I treat like my cast iron pans of over 30 yrs. old. The first time I used them, I cleaned like my cast iron. It took about 8 uses but after that, the eggs slip right out. I never use soap on them, just a stainless steel scrubber with some salt and oil and than put a light coat of oil on them before I put away. If there is burnt on food, I put some water in them and let them sit while I eat and all I need to get the cooked on food off, is my stainless steel scrubber and they clean just as well as any non stick. I can say that the pan seems very sturdy, well made, does heat quickly as stated in the advertising, and so far nothing sticks (fried chicken & potatoes, pancakes, reheated food). We really like our new fry pan. It is the nicest non-stick fry pan we have ever owned. We can cook long pieces of bacon along with eggs and potatoes at the same time.
