• Top or rear venting option. Perimeter aspiration with dishwasher-safe aluminum mesh filters. Electronic soft-touch controls sound level: 1.8 - 6.0 sones. Recirculation option - filtered exhaust from the hood is returned to the kitchen via a top vent.
• Recirculation requires minimum clearance above the unit. In kitchens where inadequate ceiling height exists - the side venting XOCYLI may be a solution.
• Besides checking the product measurements, you should also:
• Check your venting capabilities; Check if your home has installed ductwork. If it does, or you plan on getting it installed, you should look for a ducted (vented) or convertible range hood. If your home does not have installed ductwork, you should choose a ductless (non-vented) or convertible range hood.
• Measure Your Space: First, measure the width of your cooking surface from one side of the cooktop to the other. Next, measure the width of the area between cabinets where your range hood will live (if applicable). Then, measure the space between the cooking surface and cabinets or ceiling above. There should be anywhere from 24 to 36 inches between the bottom of the range hood and the cooktop surface. Finally, measure the depth from front to back of the cooking surface.
