I love this pan for braising, searing, sautéing and also works for baking, the glass cover allows you to monitor cooking, heats up quickly, heats evenly and easy to clean

This Staub braiser pan with domed glass lid allows you to peak from the outside of your pot while food is being cooked, without interrupting cooking temperature inside! This pan domed glass lid provides ample room cooking and steaming seafood such as mussels and clams as well as lobsters and crabs. This pan is deep enough not just for braising, it is an excellent sauteing pan, and a deep-frying pan. This braiser is perfectly used for stir-frying vegetables and fried rice pan, just like an Asian wok. Staub cast iron cookware features heat retention and even heat distribution. Staub comes with a variety of colors to choose from and I loved basil, grenadine and these specialty La Mer and Lime Green, so beautiful that I want to collect all of them! The colorful enamel outside adds flare to the kitchen and to the table setting. Hand washing is recommended than washing in the dishwasher for few reasons. Works use on all types of heat sources, including induction, and oven safe up to 500F.
