My husband loves to cook with really high heat (which would ruin my 3-ply sautee pans). These OXO Obsidian pans are perfect for high-heat cooking! I'm a reader, so I knew before I used the pan that there are certain restrictions (eg, hand wash only) to keep the pan functioning perfectly. And it is SO MUCH EASIER to use and maintain than my cast iron skillet. I'm grateful to Oxo (great brand) and Perigold (great source) for this pan.

First time used it the pan it changed color in the frying part from black to Gray, so I was afraid to use it.And well, I just wanted you to know I got rid of it.I should've sent you all the picture but I didn't think of that okay , thank you , sorry

Look carefully at your order. I thought I was ordering a 10" frying pan. After waiting weeks for delivery, what arrived is an 8" frying pan. Despite the item being titled "10" open frypan," it could actually be an 8", 10", or 12". Apparently I had to specify 10". I guess it's my own fault, but the name of the item is misleading. Not much I can do about it with only two days before Christmas :-(

Too heavy to use and there are safety issues because of the weight.

I purchased this pan after doing alot of research. It had great reviews and high ratings. I am very disappointed. After only using it three times, everything sticks, it is burned and unusable.
