This sink is replacing a 25 year old Kohler drop in cast iron. The old sink still looks new. So when we decided to remodel with the farmhouse look, we considered traditional fireclay. But I'm glad we spent the extra to get this solid cast iron Kohler apron front. We will never worry about cracking or mounting a disposer. And I'm sure it will hold up as well as the old Kohler we are replacing.
