It took forever (not Wayfair's fault, but manufacturers), but I love it!

This is great well worth it

We needed to replace a Jenair cooktop. We purchased this as a floor model, thinking it was never plugged in and should be fine. No box or product information with it. Got it installed and one burner light remains on. My husband has beef to the hardware store at least 3 times to get the parts that were not included. The “hot surface” light remains on. Time will tell how we like cooking on it, but it makes me nervous not knowing if the burner is actually still hot.

This unit is a replacement for the exact same model that we installed in 2017. The previous unit suddenly developed a hairline crack from top to bottom, making it unusable. We decided to replace it with the same model both because of the hole size in the stone countertop and also because we were pretty happy with it before the crack. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the crack that ended the life of the old cooktop (same model) in an instant.

The digital controls are slick, and the temperature seems very consistent. We also love that there are 5 burners, with two of them having the different size options. Beware if you are going off the height specs, though. It is true that the front of the unit is under 4 inches in height, but the circuit box in the back is another three inches high at least. Maybe not a problem for others, but the specs were misleading for us, and have necessitated the modification of drawers.
