Designed in 1892, Blackthorn was originally block-printed and features white blackthorn (or sloe) blossoms and violets with meadow flowers of red snakes head fritillaries and yellow daisies. The flowers bloom from a lattice of curling foliage, leaves, and stems in this iconic Morris pattern. Typical of Morris’ work, Blackthorn is a celebration of the beauty of nature. Blackthorn Plum contains a mixture of cranberry, mustard yellow, and terracotta tones, accompanied by accents of light greys and peach, laid upon a rich plum background. Incredibly awesome wallpaper design for the small 1/2 bath. Looked at so many samples but knew this Sanderson Dandelion Clocks in slate was the hands down winner immediately. Being installed soon and will add photos of finished product for reference. I wish to note that the paper color/design is not all matte, as the greenish dandelion is foiled so it has shine and changes color based on that aspect to a silver when viewed from certain angles.
