Perhaps William Morris’s most recognizable design, Strawberry Thief, was inspired by the thrushes that crept under Morris’s strawberry nets in his garden at Kelmscott Manor, Oxfordshire. The original pattern took several days to print using hand-carved woodblocks to build up the different colors, and ‘Strawberry Thief’ was consequently one of Morris’s firm’s most expensive cottons. While waiting to see the first piece printed, Morris endured sleepless nights in his lodgings at Merton Abbey. Designed in 1883, Strawberry Thief remains one of William Morris’s most popular and iconic designs. Strawberry Thief Deep Blue provides a depth of rich color featuring hues of muted red, teal and dark blue, partnered with pops of lighter tones to accentuate the detail within the design. This matte finish wallpaper invites the outdoors in, in a complementing and easy on the eye manner.

Beautiful patter but thinner than I had expected.. Anonymous. Wed Nov 05 2025

On the fresh, uplifting ground of Ecru, the Avalon wallpaper blooms with all the promise of spring. Entangled with wild sunflowers, poppies, daisies, and lilies (hand-drawn in pencil and watercolor), this reimagined archival print takes its name from the isle of Avalon in Arthurian mythology ‰ÛÒ a paradise where the fruit and flowers grew like magic.

A thick stipe elegantly flanked by thinner stripes makes heritage stripe the most traditional of our stripes, bringing a clean and classic look to traditional and contemporary spaces alike. The texture is waxy and matte, giving it a satisfying and durable feel.

A stripe with a difference: thinner stripes are grouped together in a band, and then flanked by shimmery metallic lines before fading out into even thinner stripes. This is repeated for a delicate ribbon effect that will look fresh wherever you choose to hang it.

It’s better In person. My client is so happy. Would use again all day long. It’s perfect for our client. Michelle. Wed Jun 24 2026

A fun and funky retro design, this is one of Sanderson's best-ever selling fabric and wallpaper designs. Use as a standout piece in a plain room or together with the range of home accessories in the same design for a cool, contemporary look.

Incredibly awesome wallpaper design for the small 1/2 bath. Looked at so many samples but knew this Sanderson Dandelion Clocks in slate was the hands down winner immediately. Being installed soon and will add photos of finished product for reference. I wish to note that the paper color/design is not all matte, as the greenish dandelion is foiled so it has shine and changes color based on that aspect to a silver when viewed from certain angles. Head on looks as depicted in swatch view above. Follow up after install, but Perigold consultant was awesome and answered many of my questions and anxiously looking forward to final outcome!. Pamela. Henrico, US. Sat Sep 06 2025

The amber desert-inspired backdrop provides the perfect setting for the festive scenes depicted across the wallpaper, alluding to the region’s New Year celebration after which it is named. Prancing horses, adorned with decorations, bring a playfulness to the print, placed alongside a myriad of birds and beasts each adding their own dynamism. Ornate architecture offers a grandeur, set amongst striking foliage and wispy cloud-like forms. An enchanting and captivating print.

Laurence Llewelyn-Bown - Off The Wall wallpaper collection. Welcome to the world of wallpaper where the walls become main characters in a romantic storybook. My approach to pattern-making always starts with my own fine art. The genesis of all these patterns is a good old-fashioned drawing, ink on textured paper, which always shines through. When you use one of my papers on your wall, you are papering your room with art. In a world where layering and storytelling are increasingly important in the way we decorate, all my wallpapers have a lot to say for themselves. That said, I have combined lush pattern-making with an experienced eye for what really works on the wall, calculating repeat sizes and color fields to be perfectly balanced and extremely easy to use as a background for modern living.

Channel the charming characteristics of traditionally woven cloth with our take on iconic tartan plaid. A simple yet personality-filled design composed of tonal stripes built up in layers. Monterey exhibits the depths of color historically achieved when multiple threads are combined on a loom. The supersized nature of the checks simplifies and modernizes the age-old pattern while flecks of white create the feel of a light fabric, the Sapphire palette artfully merging rich red and royal blue.

William Morris`s 1876 design Pimpernel swirls tendrils bowed in the wind. Still beloved today for its potent energy and tender floral form it was the design of choice for William Morris when wallpapering his dining room in Kelmscott Manor Oxfordshire.

Effervescent yet whimsical the spellbinding decadence of this Golden Lily rework captivates and excites. A fantastical take on a classic golden lily is perhaps the most enduring design by William Morris’s protégé John Henry Dearle. Luxurious and rich we can’t help falling in love (all over again) with this gloriously recolored gem.

A lively scattering of butterflies drifts among flowers, capturing the fleeting joy of a summer’s garden. The pattern is alive with motion, inviting a sense of lightness and play into the space. Beneath the charm lies a structured repeat that anchors its sense of delight.

Expect the unexpected in the mystical world of incantation. Where creatures roam freely through an enchanted setting, stay alert as you never know what lies around the corner. Exotic birdlife, ornamented horses, and mythical dragon-like animals will surround you, as you wander through gardens filled with striking florae and intricate architectural figures. With backdrops of cream, dark blue, and yellow, this vivacious print opens your senses as you imagine a rich, aromatic scent flowing through the air in this fascinating and captivating domain.

A beautiful and dynamic Morris design featuring perching and swooping birds against a network of foliage and an abundance of ripe pomegranates – some whole, some bursting open, and others getting pecked at by diving birds. The inspiration for this piece was William Morris’s much earlier pattern, ‘Fruit’, which similarly depicts luscious pomegranates amongst branches, leaves, and blooming pomegranate flowers. With nature as the focus, this vibrant and whimsical design is a fine exemplar of Morris’s characteristic style. Bird and Pomegranate Deep Green is a beautiful, statement design with its vivid richness in color. Displaying pops of muted terracotta, rosy pink, and cream against a multi-tonal sea of green. This matte-finish wallpaper would be an eye catching asset to any room.
