Very disappointed! Your website states the books are: “authentic curated British literary classics published 1900-1980.” As shown in the photos below this is NOT what we received. Photographic reproductions of the veneer cannot be taken as a guideline to the actual color. Wood is a natural material, and gradual changes in tone may occur over time. Furthermore, if the lamps have been purchased at different times, there will be differences in color and tone, particularly in the light-colored veneers.

I was honestly impressed with how substantial and heavy duty this easel feels in person. The brushed iron gives it a really solid, high-quality feel and it doesn’t wobble or feel flimsy at all like some decorative easels do. It has a clean, simple look that works really well with modern decor, and it’s sturdy enough to hold larger or heavier artwork without looking strained. The finish is also really nice in person — warm and slightly rustic without feeling too industrial. Definitely one of those pieces that feels more expensive once you get it set up.
