Villa Side Chair Cane

Designed as an homage to the iconic original, the Edward 26" Wide Linen Armchair is elegant and understated. It borrows the best elements from classical design and restates them in the modern vernacular. It is sleekly crafted with sustainably harvested cape lilac mahogany and features a hand-woven rattan back, hand-cast brass sabots, and arm caps.

Such an interesting accent chair! Not very comfortable. Seat is extra firm. Looks great in the room. Linda. Wexford, PA. Wed Oct 29 2025

The Raleigh armchair is equal parts style and casual comfort. Its contemporary look belies its craftsmanship which is based on old-world techniques. Our artisans hand weave and tie the caning into a modern wing-back silhouette.

Chosen for its deep grain and ethereal texture, the cape lilac Mahogany on our Monaco armchair is a truly special material. A distant cousin to the Alexa chair, Monaco’s shape is derived from ancient Klismos chairs of Greece but also has notes of art deco influence. The slightly flared, hand-carved legs add a touch of elegance and refinement. The curved back is striking from all angles and allows the seat to be nestled nicely under any dining table or desk. Each detail of Monaco is carefully considered. The back is carved by hand for subtle shaping while the basket weave-patterned caning is handwoven in our factories, strand by strand. The linen drop-in seat is easily reupholstered. The result is comfortable without being overly large and perfectly suitable as a desk chair to work from home or dotted around a curved dining table (as it has no trouble with the apron of a desk or table)

Hand-carved detailing is on full display with our Leila Side Chair. The octagonal seat back is slightly curved for comfort and accented with multi-layered channels. The back and seat are adorned with bleached cane, and each leg is deftly tapered. French-inspired, this elegant and feminine seat is slightly smaller in scale and works perfectly as a vanity or desk seat, yet it would still be a beautiful and practical option to surround a dining room table.

Your home should be your oasis, and nothing captures that breezy, beachy element quite like our Aubrey Chair collection. Solid Cape Lilac Mahogany is carved by hand to produce a faux-bamboo display, which, combined with its sandy, limed finish, gives an elegant nod to island living. It is a comfortable caned back and linen-padded seat, however, maintains a high-end feel, making the Aubrey Side Chair an ideal addition (either solo or as a dining set) to a coastal home, rustic cabin, or even an urban space in need of natural touch.

Beautiful chairs. Great for a coastal vibe.. Jenny. Woodstock, GA. Sun Apr 03 2022

The Raleigh is a modern, resort-inspired evolution of a French favorite. The Bergères design has transparency from caning, solidity from carved white lacquered mahogany, and drama from bold, flaring arm support.

Cane-backed chairs have proven to be a timeless addition, and our Ernest side chair embodies everything we love about them. A classic silhouette, made of lacquered mahogany is complemented by the meticulous hand-woven cane back, which adds a dash of organic chic. With decorative wood-carved detailing at its seat and a comfortable linen drop-in cushion, the Ernest is a relaxed yet effortlessly elegant pick as part of a dining set. It would work particularly well within a modern farmhouse kitchen or country dining room.

First of all, Perigold/Wayfair customer service is 5 star and provides great service. My rating is for the armchair. Initially, bought 2 armchairs and had a 3rd one sent. I needed a matching set, but out of 3 armchairs, no 2 chairs matched. All had different color finishes. The 3rd armchair did not seem as well made as the other 2 chairs. Poor quality control with construction and stain finishes, especially given the price of the chairs. Getting 2 chairs to match should have never been an issue.. D. Texas. Mon Sep 19 2022

The Jardin Collection is handcrafted of solid mahogany in the Chinoiserie style. Stylish design details include the handsome faux-bamboo frame, lattice frets, and tapered legs which give the piece an elegant and graceful line.

I love this chair! It feels high quality with sturdy construction and is a stunning accent to my living room. The wood has a nice grain to it. The zoomed in detail shot of the seat fabric is the most accurate depiction of the color - it is slightly off white.. Rebecca. Nyc, NY. Thu Apr 25 2019

Beautiful and unique accent chair. And it is comfortable and light weight so it can be easily moved wherever I like. Lovely detail. I highly recommend this unique piece.. Pamela. Yachats, OR. Sun Nov 24 2024

Our effortlessly cool Jansen chair is thoroughly modern and possesses a pedigree that reaches back to the 18th century. We've taken a classical shape, removed the decorative embellishments popular in the neo-classical period, and stripped it down to classical straight clean lines. Using modern proportions and finishes, we've reimagined it as a 21st-century piece with a 1960s retro appeal, with a back and seat made of bleached cane in a traditional octagonal pattern. Crafted in gorgeous mahogany, the collection comes in Eggshell White, Black, or Driftwood. Bold, stylish, and a little rustic, the Jansen Chair collection makes for a handsome dining set—with armchairs at both ends of a table—in either a modern country cottage or a worldly urban apartment.
