Avoid using glass cleaners on anything but glass and mirrors. Ammonia can cause discoloration and dull the finish. The lacquer pieces come in both high-gloss and medium-gloss. Clean lacquer with a soft cloth or duster. Avoid rubbing hard as this may produce tiny scratches.

First of all, Perigold/Wayfair customer service is 5 star and provides great service. My rating is for the armchair. Initially, bought 2 armchairs and had a 3rd one sent. I needed a matching set, but out of 3 armchairs, no 2 chairs matched. All had different color finishes. The 3rd armchair did not seem as well made as the other 2 chairs. Poor quality control with construction and stain finishes, especially given the price of the chairs. Getting 2 chairs to match should have never been an issue.
