We love the white oak fireplace! We don’t use it as a TV stand. I have to be honest though that the reviews that said how easy it was to put together, were not what we experienced. The directions seemed to be very thorough until we ran into discrepancies with the directions. Very frustrating. We ended up hiring someone to help with it. This a great piece. We purchased two for our restaurant. Here are some aspects to be aware: 1) it is flat-packed and requires assembly. The assembly isn't difficult, but will take come time and require some tools. 2) The electrical cord is on the right side when facing the unit. This means the outlet must be directly behind the unit or to the right side of the unit. This was a surprise to us. It would be better if the cord could be relocated to either side of the insert. It took me almost two hours to do it on my own, but I wanted to make sure I followed the directions right. Honestly, it’s super easy to put together, and I felt pretty good about getting it done.
