Mepra Roasting pan appears to be made of quality stainless steel for even cooking and lifetime use. The lid doesn't fit snugly, which presents the possibility of steam escaping during cooking. This roast pan is the ideal accompaniment. The grate is integrated into the pan, but it can also be removed so you can clean it quickly and easily. The roasting pan and grate measure 15.75 x 13.3 inches overall, so there is space even for large joints of meat. The meat or other roasted food sits on a high-quality grate, which allows liquids and fat to drain. This allows a crisp crust to develop. The stainless steel handles facilitate handling the pan during roasting. They stay pleasantly cold, so you can always pick up the roasting pan with a grate. Belgian designer Stefan Schöning's creation is classically simple and is made of high-quality multi-layer material. The grate has a coating, so fried food is easily removed. Any gravy that sticks to the pouring lip is easily removed.
