This grandfather clock features a unique modern design with a rectangular dial. The dial features chrome-finished hour markers in a sunbeam pattern with the hour and minute hands finished in black and a continuous sweep second hand finished in red. An LED spotlight is provided in the base to view the clock in a darkened room. A touch dimmer pad is located on the backside of the base, allowing for four light levels: Low, medium, high, and off. A power adapter that plugs into the base powers the LED light. Time-only, quartz battery-operated movement requires one AA and two C batteries (not included). It is a wall accessory designed with the highest quality materials. It is made of chromed steel and fine wood. Its design is the classic round wall clock but with a modern and minimalist twist. When getting rid of the numbers and the small lines that indicate the time, an extremely simple design is achieved that does not overwhelm the view. Thanks to the addition of a double wooden ring a three-dimensional design is created that doesn't bore because it does not stay in a single dimension attached to the wall. It has just four vertical and horizontal lines made of chromed steel and a bright silver-gray color maintaining only what is necessary to have the time reference. Made with a delicate rounded shape to maintain the lightness of the curves. Despite being a clearly minimalist design we don't define it as delicate. It is rather a robust design with a lot of personalities which makes it the perfect clock to create balance within a delicate and tenuous decoration. Its size is 56 cm making it an ideal size because it is not incredibly giant to the point of being overwhelming but not too small to go unnoticed.

We are very pleased with the clock and the ease of assembling what little there was to do. There is one minor flaw. the battery holder for the pendulum is for batteries with a larger diameter. Normally available AA batteries don't stay in place. In addition, one of the contact springs had green corrosion on the surfaces that contact the base of a battery. We have cleaned the corrosion and will look for tubing that will add apparent size to the batteries.
