I had read the reviews about damage but there is not a scratch on this thing. it is a monster desk that is very heavy. The quality of the materials and the finish were excellent, the craftmanship was a bit off in places. In the attached photo, there was no way to close the gap in the bottom left while keeping the section level. Also, the knee clearance is not up to ADA standards.
