It’s a substantial piece of furniture. I like the color and I like the dimensions. I wish that it had come in one piece and not had to be put together, but I’m sure it was too big to ship. My only other qualm is the drawers… They’re not soft close and you have to push them in and then give them another hard push to get them to close completely. This kitchen island is an inspired interpretation of French and American styling that makes a fresh design statement in a casual driftwood finish. One thing to consider is the weight of the item, it is extremely heavy and multiple people are needed to carry in as well as assist in putting together.
