If you are thinking of buying this and are a little nervous don't hesitate. It arrived and each peice was expertly packed, there would be no way of damage. We were able to put together in less than 30 mins. One thing to consider is the weight of the item, it is extremely heavy and multiple people are needed to carry in as well as assist in putting together. Worth every penny and will be apart of my family for generations to come. I purchased the useful grey, I really think would go with any decor.

This is a beautiful, well-made piece of furniture and it was really well packaged and handled for delivery. It is incredibly heavy though, and it would have helped to know it's weight ahead of time. I only found dimensions in the specs on the website and not it's actual weight. We paid extra for the room of choice delivery which was a great help and regret not paying for the porch service to assemble it and get it into the room of our choice for us. We thought we had enough help to do it ourselves, but this thing weighs like a piano and I can tell you that desk jockeys won't be up for the task. The delivery men told us that the top alone weighs 280 lbs and adding the legs and shelves to that weight makes it well over 300 lbs. It has to be assembled with it's top on the floor while you put on it's legs and shelves. That's relatively easy to do. It was flipping that amount of weight without using the legs as fulcrums (as we were cautioned against doing) and having no good hand-holds that proved our undoing. Somebody was going to get hurt so we gave up and are waiting for some in-home movers to come and help us at an extra cost of about $300! Don't be afraid to order this, but definitely budget for the upgraded room-of-choice delivery and (emphasized) Porch assembly service Wayfair offers (but be sure that includes flipping the table upright!) It's cheaper than having to get a moving service to help you with this behemoth if you don't have access to a football team. It is a gorgeous piece of furniture and the free shipping from Wayfair offsets the extra costs we're encountering getting it to where we want it in the house. We really love it!
