This rug is stunning. The textures and colors are much richer and more varied than I even expected. Overall very warm neutrals with caramel, lavenders and salmons with some darker charcoals. There's also subtle variation in the weave textures with some colors clearly having some silky content and a bit of a sheen. Its definitely something to build the room around. While I expected the rug to reflect the colors as seen on the website consistent with traditional terrazzo colors, what I received is much more (disappointingly) muted. The "orange" listed in the description is not orange at all and is better described as taupe or mauve. I couldn't return this item if I wanted to since its no returns. The rug looks seems to be good quality for the price point. The colors in person are much more muted than the colors show online. That being said, it is still very pretty. I was planning to incorporate a bright furniture piece into the room, and I actually think the muted colors will help to focus on the furniture piece and keep the overal aesthetic more tasteful.
