this desk came fully assembled at least this one did. the guys were professional and very good. I had read the reviews about damage but there is not a scratch on this thing. it is a monster desk that is very heavy. Meticulously hand-crafted and European inspired, this writing desk has classic features and exhibits ornate Victorian accents. With antique characteristics, this luxurious desk would more than adequately complement any study room.

The quality of the materials and the finish were excellent, the craftmanship was a bit off in places. In the attached photo, there was no way to close the gap in the bottom left while keeping the section level. Also, the knee clearance is not up to ADA standards.
