it’s just what i wanted design-wise. Assembly wasn’t that challenging and it looks very good — just what I wanted. One thing: the holes to screw the cabinet doors onto the frame were places about 1/8” off so one door ended up too high and scrapes at the top and is very hard to close (and will scratch and wear over time) and, when closed, the other door is too far out so it doesn’t align with the other door (and protrudes a bit out beyond the shelf above it. I love this coat rack, it looks really cool, but there are some issues. Mine came with spots of corrosion at the corners like it was stored somewhere humid and the powder coating on the iron wasn’t thoroughly done. There are also only four holes to anchor it to the wall and they’re not in a square or rectangle so it’s easy to drill in your wall anchors and then realize you messed up and they are not lined up correctly and there’s not a good way to fix it because you can’t use another hole and try again. This bench is built out of a solid American walnut top and solid oak-painted base with white accents. One of the striking features of this piece is that the bench is made out of one solid slab of wood. We carefully cut the slab out of one tree that follows the pattern of the way the tree grew. For any natural cracks in the slab, we insert white butterfly keys inlay to prevent further movement in the wood. It is a technique often used for that purpose and adds to the piece.
