I love this fixture. It weighs nothing and is very well designed, so it’s super easy to install and wire-up. The one I got (medium) hangs on two cables, one at the junction box and one offset about 24” in any direction you like. This makes it a great choice if your junction box isn’t exactly centered where you’d like it. The dimming is my favorite part. It dims super smooth with no flicker whatsoever. Here is one word of caution. There is a little slider for adjusting the non-powered cable length where it attaches to the ceiling. From my experience, it only slides in one direction. That means don’t over slide/shorten your cable, because I could not figure out how to pull it back. Maybe it’s just me, but I was stumped, and the little cartoon pamphlet they call an installation guide was no help. I got lucky that I didn’t overshoot my mark. Just giving you a heads-up. The luminaire is dimmable by using an either internally mounted or externally placed 1-10V dimmer switch. 1-10V is a dimming system widely used in some parts of the world, for example in North America. This method will need its wiring. The dimming quality is perfect, without flicker, the range can be limited and the luminaire cannot be dimmed to off. To turn off the luminaire a switch is needed.

Old ladies call this pendant neatly coiled balls of yarn, and kids talk about them as if they are soap bubbles hanging from light bulbs. Some say they are there to light up Arabian nights, and Moooi says it is a Non Random pendant.

A slender empire of marble meets a tapered antique brass shade to create an unexpected balancing act of material and color, accented by antique brass hardware and a taupe cloth cord. The finish will vary.

Starfall is a classically proportioned five-pointed double star. Gathered at a high waist of the lamp, five slender, tapered arms extend up as if reaching for the sky while five tapered legs splay downward, appearing to float just above a tabletop or floor. Slight and delicately crafted from metal, this lamp appears weightless and defies its media of steel sheeting. Finally, a gilded iron finish or a bronze finish is applied. Each lamp is fitted with a drum shade and a matching starburst finial.

To call this a "novelty" floor lamp does not do it justice. This is a top quality lamp in every respect. It is heavy, well made, and it looks awesome. Even the packaging it came in was top-notch. Inspired by the Putney lamp, we created a large-scale version. From each direction, its silhouette reveals three stacked rounded forms—a cylinder, a disc, and an elongated tapered coin base. Showcasing angular composition and balance, it has a mid-century feel with an updated take on the style via its cast aluminum. It is topped with an off-white linen shade with off-white cotton lining, and features a clear silver cord and three-way rotary switch. The finish will vary.
