The Sculptures are individually crafted so that no two pieces are ever exactly alike. The moon gates are inspired by traditional round passageways found in Chinese landscape architecture which act as entry and exit points to the garden. The circular elements are symbolic of the idea of completion, representing and celebrating the cohesiveness of the family, as members pass through the gate to return home. Another interpretation is that, like the moon, the opening is symbolic of the cycle of life, and renewal as the full moon marks wholeness and is suggestive of new beginnings. "I love thinking of these sculptures as a portal into nature. By looking at the moon gate, I am reminded of the delicate balance between man and nature, and my need for connection between my home life and the beauty and abundance of nature."

The product is inspired by jagged-edged stone formations as seen through the combined lenses of Rock and roll glam, cubism, and art deco. The collection feels very new while referencing past cultural and artistic movements and follows the artist's love of incorporating natural forms into the home. The finish feels decadent while the faceted Rock forms are simple and clean. The result is a bold design that I feel reflects an elegant lifestyle that is edgy, fashionable, and modern.

The Olive Branch collection is one of the best-known and most loved of Michael's motifs. The simple forms create objects that serve wonderfully as stunning individual gifts or an exuberant table setting that decorates an entire moment of your life. The theme itself captures all the most distinctive aspects of Michael's work - narrative strength, deep symbolism, and extraordinary sculptural expression. The olive branch has always held a powerful meaning for me representing both peace and victory. In designing functional objects with natural forms, there is a mingled sense of fragility and intensity. For me, it is like nature spreading through my interior spaces - like a magical olive grove sweetly willing its way into my home.

The Tulip Collection celebrates rebirth as the ground begins to thaw and new life flourishes. Inspired by the feathery petals of the Parrot Tulip, each petal ripples as if the flower is about to take flight. Symbolic of perfect love, these expressive blooms tell a story of life: Passion, grace, and new beginnings. The Tulip Collection features elaborate sculptures in a modern, lyrical way. The white enamel and gold finish reflects the effect of light and shadow that caress each flower as the world begins to wake. I’ve grown up with tulips in my garden since I was a child, and still enjoy the surprise of them as the first sign of spring. The image of their stems forcing through the dirt and eventually bowing under the weight of their heavy-headed blooms is something I find so precious and beautiful.

The Flights of Fancy collection is a series of unique objects that celebrate whimsy in daily life. Whether seen individually or among other pieces, they evoke a sense of charm and fantasy. Drawing profoundly from a background as a sculptor, each piece emerges from hand-sculpted clay and offers a child-like quality with an inherent depth of meaning. This sculpture is limited to 500 editions and individually crafted so that no two pieces are ever exactly alike. "There is such power in narrative images for me. The shapes are obvious and immediate and, at the same time, impressionistic and lyrical “ the way a small child might imagine the scenes in a story he's being told. I've always been fascinated by objects of ritual. The idea that an object can have such deep, emotional significance to so many people is deeply moving. As an Armenian, the foliated cross has an especially personal meaning to me. Leaf shapes traditionally found at the tips of the cross is a representation I love as it enforces the cross as a symbol brimming with life, potential, and hope".

The Butterfly Ginkgo collection celebrates the representation of flora as fauna. Michael's fascination with a particular type of ginkgo tree, the Ginkgo Biloba, or "Butterfly Ginkgo", which grows with a double leaf reminiscent of a butterfly's wings, gave rise to a fantasia image of the plant. Executed at the highest level of handcraftsmanship, each piece is rendered in solid brass with hand-etched cocoon-shaped vessels. The pieces in the collection are a tour de force of the handcrafted process, capturing the poetic spirit that is so deeply indicative of Michael's work. "The first time I saw this tree, it literally looked like it had been completely overtaken by butterflies... as if we would all take flight the moment I walked too close or made a noise. The idea that the leaves could evoke the beauty of butterflies was magical to me, like trees that can metamorphose from flora to fauna in the blink of an eye."

The moon gates are inspired by traditional round passageways found in Chinese landscape architecture which act as entry and exit points to the garden. The circular elements are symbolic of the idea of completion, representing and celebrating the cohesiveness of the family, as members pass through the gate to return home. Another interpretation is that, as the moon, the opening is symbolic of the cycle of life, and renewal as the full moon marks wholeness and is suggestive of new beginnings.
