The Golden Ginkgo collection takes its inspiration from the intricacies of form and texture found in foliage from around the world. By interpreting plant forms in cast metal, Aram presents work that is evocative of a natural environment transformed and redefined. "These pieces have wonderfully undulating leaves, which create an almost rococo surface of playful, delicate, and intricate forms. By combining the individually sculpted leaves, the natural forms join to create a complex pattern. I've tried to capture that sense of movement and fragility in metal."

Additional Features

Michael is highly inspired by his surroundings and often makes sculptures of objects that might otherwise be overlooked in the everyday. Nature is his biggest muse, as is the handmade process.
Product care: Do not soak, even in plain water, or leave unwashed overnight. Do not use solvents, ammonia, or any household soaps/detergents with lemon or other acidic agents. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or scouring pads that can scratch and dull surfaces. Hand wash with gentle detergent, and dry immediately with a soft cloth. Do not clean with any chemical solvents.

This is a beautiful Michael Aram gold pinko leaf "dish/small tray" it is about the size of a coaster, and only used for a catch all or decoration. Really looks great on a small side table.
