It is suggested that this fountain top is not left outside in the winter. Once the top fills with water and snow and freezes, the top may crack. All fountain bases should be raised up off the ground in winter so they will not freeze to the ground surface. Ideally, a fountain should be stored indoors in the winter away from the elements. However, if a fountain bowl must be left outside, remove all pumps, rubber stoppers, drain pipes, finials, and small components, cover the top with burlap or any absorbent material, and then wrapped with dark plastic, making sure that water does not accumulate in the basin and freeze. Fountain pumps, finials, and other small components should be stored indoors. Check the fountain periodically to ensure that the cover is secure and water is not accumulating in any fountain component.

Excellent fountain. The whole experience was top notch. The delivery was made without a hitch. Everything packaged on a pallet that was secure and safe. It is very heavy, so a lot of help is needed to move it into position. The fountain comes with everything you need - Pump, hoses, and even a canister of touch up if needed. We did not need the touch up. Very easy to assemble. The instructions are very easy to follow. You will need an out door outlet to plug it in. Just a regular plug is fine. Make sure you have a solid foundation for where the fountain will rest because this fountain is the real deal. It is not a decorative, cheap, plastic knock off. The Beauvais fountain is a beautiful piece, exactly as depicted. Perigold was very helpful in coordinating the delivery and what to expect. The assembly instructions from the manufacturer (Campania International), left a lot to be desired… but I was able to email them for clarification on what the completed assembly of the copper tubing In the upper urn should look like after following the vague instructions. Also, they left out a needed stopper in the shipment. Without this piece, the fountain would not hold water. There was no mention of this extra stopper in the assembly instruction's, but I was able to call Perigold and Campania international to report the issue, and they sent the stopper. Actually, this stopper allows draining, cleaning, and refilling the fountain an easy task… but again no mention of that… which should be a great a great selling point. So, the service up to that point was great. 4 days later, I emailed the manufacturer about an issue where the pump was tripping the GFCI outlet. They were not as helpful with the trouble shooting. I managed to figure out and resolve the problem myself, which turned out to be the plug attached to a timer was getting wet. I had to encase that connection in a plastic bag, and the problem was resolved… but it would have been nice for them to help with the trouble shooting. This last experience makes me question what kind of support I will get going forward. So far, I do love the fountain and have no regrets about purchasing. Love it . the copper got bent taking out of box and setting up and reached out for a replacement piece. The company reached out to clear the replacement order and they would provide replacement for 60 usd. I canceled the replacement order online but I’m not sure that it showed up in the system correct as the fountain company reached out to me daily for a week telling me to cancel . I really love the look of this new fountain ! Smaller than my last one & easy to clean but cleaning out the motor area is more difficult because the space is hard to reach into. I now suction out the water like people do for their aquariums, brush it then flood out the water a couple times then refill . My neighborhood birds love to bathe in it daily when it is on & I do clean it weekly & add algaecide every other day too. A large fountain with a lemon green glaze (2 pieces with pump included).

It’s beautiful! It sits just in front of the kitchen window, but is tall enough that I can still see it. I love the clean lines.. It looks beautiful with our contemporary home. The pump moves a good amount of water so it’s easy to hear with the kitchen windows open. It ended up being perfect for the spot. The finish gives it a patina that resembles a mix of sandstone meets oxidized copper. Pros extremely well made, solid, looks like it belongs in a European Mediterranean town. The pump is the perfect sizestrength to provide a pleasant steady stream. The sound is mesmerizing. There is an easy enough, but concealed opening in the back to allow for pumplight cords without having to do too many acrobatics. The shipping is so well protected it could probably be hurled from a plane and survive. Cons it’s delivered on a pallet and it either has to reach its final location in pieces or the opening has to be large enough where a pallet can fithand fork lift can easily access. The pieces are large and extremely heavy. This is not a 1-2 person operation. Expect some need of helpequipment to install it. The bottom basin is probably about 900-1000lbs. The two upper ones with the back was probably another 700lbs (which has to lifted to fit on top of the basin, which in turn is lifted over three separate pieces comprising the bottom-baselegs. You need to have a very clear and precise idea where it’s going because once it’s set down, it will be very difficult to move. The pump tubing requires a little effort to connect, but doable.
