One of the winning features of the loop paper towel holder is its stability. The stainless steel base is weighted and the underside is rubberized so that it stays securely in place without slipping. Two springs on the central pole hold the kitchen roll securely in place. This means that sheets can be torn off with one hand – without toppling the paper towel holder. The tip of the stainless steel arm has a plastic coating to prevent the paper from tearing.

Michael Aram presents the Butterfly Ginkgo Paper Towel Holder, a lyrical exploration of nature's ability to metamorphose from flora to fauna. Inspired by the Ginkgo Biloba tree, this freestanding piece features delicate goldtone leaves reminiscent of a butterfly's wings, hand-rendered with the highest level of Indian craftsmanship. The juxtaposition of nickelplate and oxidized finishes creates a poetic fantasia, turning a kitchen essential into a storied work of art. Designed with a weighted base to accommodate large rolls, it celebrates the perfectly imperfect beauty of the handmade process. This functional sculpture transforms the everyday into a moment of magic.

In black, orchids appear more seductive, like a woman wearing a black velvet gown in a glassy urban high-rise. The dark atmosphere of the black is more sensual to me, like the afterglow of a beautiful evening. I am fascinated by this mystery behind a Black Orchid’s origin, and the question of if they truly exist in nature.”
