I have to say I was nervous when I got home and found the box by the door upside down with the “This Side Up” arrow pointing down. It did look a little squished when I first took it out of the box, but I misted it and after sitting upright for a while, it bounced back really well. Water it about once a week with approximately 1 cup. Ensure excess water drains. Adjust as needed for your environment. Never let Chinese Evergreen or Aglaonema sit in water or saturated soil. Chinese Evergreen, Aglaonema is generally a slow grower, depending on the environment and care provided. Boost growth in spring and summer with a fertilizer labeled for potted plants following the product's instructions. When Chinese Evergreen, Aglaonema outgrows its current container, a report by gently removing it from its container and placing it in a 2-inch wider container. Fill with potting mix and water thoroughly. Hardy outdoors in USDA zones 10-11. Exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact.
