The quality of the materials and the finish were excellent, the craftmanship was a bit off in places. In the attached photo, there was no way to close the gap in the bottom left while keeping the section level. Also, the knee clearance is not up to ADA standards. Midcentury meets Shaker. Made from solid acacia and finished in a light, smoked honey, with an arched cradle base. Vary-sized drawers bring generous storage space to the home office.

Attractiveness 5 stars. Functionality 0 stars. Drawers are sticky, thus the round pulls are worthless for getting the drawers open. File cabinet hardware is set for legal sized folders. There could have been a simple solution, a small slit in the metal hanging devices that would accommodate letter sized folders, but no - very poor design. Also, the file drawers only open about 1/2 way, so files in the back are hidden. And, the drawer guides are extremely poor given the weight of the drawers. Save your money, as this desk was expensive! Keep looking and try other sites rather than Josh and Main! Also, the matching book case finally came with one of the doors broken.
