Gas-fired kilns ensure an intense, consistent heat that brings glazes to jewel-like color saturation. Expect small color, glaze, and surface variations. These are normal in handcrafted ceramics, adding character and guaranteeing the uniqueness of each piece.

The cast stone pieces are made with a high-density cast stone mix. Patinas are hand applied by skilled artisans, providing each piece with its own unique finish. Pieces will weather over time, adding to their beauty. Cast stone must be protected in the winter to prevent damage.

This pot is awesome ! It can cook a small to extra large batch of just about anything. In addition, I use when home canning so I get double use out of it in that manner. If I decide to keep something in in overnight, it easily fits into my frog because of the flat lid. It saves room in my cabinets too due to the flat lid. I own 2 of these now. I’ve used the first one for about 2 years and have had no problems. I do always use soft utensils when stirring so as not to scratch the inside of it. This is expensive for a single pot in my opinion but I was willing to pay the extra because of its size and versatility and the way in which it has held up over several years.
