What we received was hardly close to what is shown. It is being returned and a replacement has been ordered to replace it. So this is a statement on what was received for the first order. The pictures on the website show a lot of color in the acrylic and on the wood. The one we received had NO COLOR in the acrylic and very little on the wood. In fact, the tiny bit of 'variety' in the acrylic looked more like a defect than planned 'dream space' coloring. It was like the person making the sculpture had run out of colors and just barely put enough on there to say there was some. I understand that each sculpture is unique and we can't expect exactly what is shown in the pictures. But this is significantly subpar. Like the end of the run with very little color and even a weird smoked tinge to the acrylic instead of clear. In 2016, large masses of the Sericho pallasite meteorite were acquired from villagers in Isiolo County, Kenya, marking its formal discovery. Everyone is really excited to see them and how they're going to transform everything! However, when they arrived, we noticed they came in the wrong color. We ordered black, but they came in the silver color instead. Atlas, son of Iapetus and the nymph Clymene LED the rebellion of the Titans against Zeus and, as a punishment, he was condemned to hold up the sky on his shoulders countless legends exist about this strong man who bore the weight of the celestial spheres to keep them separate from the earth and maintain the balance of the universe. He was also attributed with great learning in mathematics and astrology. Making this Atlas required a set of 12 different molds to create the porcelain fragments to compose the final piece. To further enhance the strength of this god, it was decided not to apply any other color except for some carefully chosen touches of golden luster and the iridescent metalized enamels of the sphere.

Like all the pieces in Jaime Hayon's The Fantasy Collection, this creation arises from the fusion of a classic Lladró theme such as love and the playful sense and fantasy that the Spanish creative Jaime Hayon brings to his designs. This imaginative and surprising representation of a lover shows the elegant and casual look that surrounds the entire collection.

Inspired by a gymnast in motion, these graceful sculptures can stand alone on a pedestal or mix beautifully into any interior.

With the new Astro sculptures from Kahler, the Danish sculptor Malene Bjelke has been inspired by Kahler's long history of figurines and has created 12 different zodiac sculptures that beautifully bring the design heritage from Kahler's historic ceramic workshop into the present day with a spiritual focus. All the zodiac figurines are made of white unglazed stoneware and stand in a silhouetted look. The raw expression helps to create dynamics in the figurines as naturalistic details so that they appear as sculptures that can be appreciated from all angles. Each Astro sculpture has been created with a descriptive word based on the values associated with each of the 12 different zodiac signs. The energy of the specific characteristics of the zodiac signs has been translated into the design of the figurines. For the Astro Scorpio sculpture, the word Passion influences the expression of the figurine's pose and helps describe the unique characteristics of this zodiac sign.

The Atlas Balancing Log Sculpture has a storied namesake. In Greek mythology, Atlas was the Titan god of endurance whom Zeus tasked with holding up the celestial heavens for eternity. The black figures extending from the black base on this sculpture, which support the organically shaped wood artifact, have as weighty a job as the mythical hero. With this sculpture, we’ve taken a piece of chamcha wood that would have been one of Nature’s castaways and made it into an elemental design statement. Given with the minimal feel of this composition, the overall style is fitting for a number of interiors, including contemporary, modern farmhouse, and industrial chic. There are a variety of furnishings and accessories in the Atlas Collection that reflect the ethos Phillips Collection personifies: modern organic. We have three decorative sculptures in this series.
