It is dedicated to those who do not want to renounce the taste and aroma of coffee offered by an espresso coffee machine, but want to experience this daily ritual in a special way.
It's really kinda sad that service that should be the norm sticks out as extraordinary. Veni, vedi, vice, I saw, I ordered, I received, not that complicated. It was a pleasure. I am now the proud owner of an aluminum chicken. What more could one want, I ask you?. Mark Joseph. Fri Jun 03 2022

Designed by Michel Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui. The designers drew their inspiration from their home, Casa Boucquillon: A place for experimentation, meditation, and work where they live in sync with nature. The perforated pattern of the “Bark” range recalls the bark on the trees around the house. The press filter coffee maker allows the preparation of coffee with a particular taste, ideal for those who appreciate brewed coffee that is long but intense.

Designed by Michael Anastassiades, the Menhir espresso coffee maker has an absolute line. The name Menhir immediately brings to mind the power of a form with great emblematic presence: “long stones” carefully positioned in the landscape, probably associated with religious ceremonies or other rituals, the menhirs inspired this iconic tool, used for one of the most important modern daily rituals; that of making coffee. Dedicated to those who appreciate exquisite manufacture: A real workshop gem.

A revolutionary Moka that combines the technology developed by illycaffè and the design experience of Alessi. Designed by Michele de Lucchi, Pulcina encapsulates a small but substantial design innovation that stops dispensing the drink at the right time before the coffee gets a bitter aftertaste. This helps to enhance the full and rich aroma of this drink. The spout, which recalls a chick's beak (hence the name of the coffee maker) allows it to perfectly stop the drop.

The 9091 kettle has a melodic whistle made of brass in a shape that has never been seen before and consists of two small vents in which the tuners that reproduce the notes mi and si are inserted. Richard Sapper created this kettle inspired by a childhood remembrance, the poetic sound of boats' sirens at the River Rhine: This is because the melody that accompanies the vapor outlet must be pleasant and not anxious like the whistle of boilers. This induction kettle is a polysensory object that will not interrupt an enjoyable break with a whistle but with a captivating melody.
This is a very beautiful looking kettle, except for the bottom connection to the base should have been a different material Because one mistake with the flame to high it started melting. Can that be correct. Thank you…. Roxanne. Brooklyn, NY. Wed Apr 05 2023

Designed by Riccardo Delisi, the Caffetteria con Cuore e Stelle (Coffee pot with heart and stars) is an enchanting work of art and design that celebrates one of the most brilliant examples of a poetic attitude to design. It is the reproduction of one of the over two hundred prototypes created by Dalisi during the design process that led to the production of his Neapolitan coffeepot in the 1970s, each one different from the last, and gradually more and more expressive to the point of losing any functional appearance and becoming pieces of art.

9090 is the first espresso coffee maker in Alessi's history, but also the first of several Compasso d'Oro awards and the first Alessi item exhibited at the MOMA in New York. "I wanted to give this machinery the features that others do not have." With these words Richard Sapper described the idea from which he started. 9090 is original not only for its special shape but also for some functional innovations such as the enlarged base that allows to maximize heat, the anti-drip spout and the lever lock that allow one to open the coffee pot with a simple gesture of the hand.

This collection was Alessi's only model of cutlery. Despite the grim prospects forwarded by those in the sector, the collection proves that its innovative shape and resolute style, along with extreme manageability and an excellent finish, can weather the storm. Over the years, the Dry model has opened up the road for us and various other cutlery sets, though it has always remained well up among the leaders.

Alessi
Carlo Alessi was born in Granerolo (Verbania) in 1916, studied technical design at the OMAR institute in Novara, and, at an early age worked in the metal workshop set up by his father, Giovanni, in 1921. From the mid-thirties until the mid-forties, he designed many Alessi works including the “Ottagonale”, “Scalini”, “Cylindrical” and “Bombé'” series. In the fifties, he became managing director of the company bringing with him a new international dimension, and began working with new external designers. He was president of Alessi S.p until 2009 when he passed away.

Known for being the original developer of the "principles of the total work of art," Josef Hoffmann would incorporate these ideals into original historic Alessi designs of 1906 such as the Rundes Modell Flatware. Presented for the first time at "The Laid Table" exhibit in Wien (Vienna), this cutlery was ahead of its time with its truly modern shape and design. Originally handmade in silver between 1910 and 1912, today this set is reproduced by Alessi in polished 18/10 stainless steel for durability and practicality. The contemporary form of the "Rundes Modell" coffee/espresso spoon reflects Hoffmann's search for ultimate functionality combined with extreme elegance utilizing the common materials and processes of the World War era.

An icon of contemporary industrial design, with which one can prepare and serve a great coffee.

Designed to enhance the enjoyment of long drinks and cocktails, this glass from the Eugenia service has a generous height and capacity. It is a refined object not only visually: When your lips touch the glass, you can perceive that the rim rises slightly vertically, a simple yet unique detail. It is 'Donkaku', a term in Japanese that indicates an obtuse angle, chosen by Naoto Fukasawa to characterize all elements of the service.

The salad/dessert fork of the Nuovo Milano series has an elegant and balanced shape: the rounded handle fits the palm of the hand perfectly, the three prongs are impeccably designed. One of the external prongs, which is more elongated and sharpened, can be used to cut even the most consistent cakes.

The product and presented for the first time to the public at the "La Tavola apparecchiata" ("The set table") exhibition at the WW's exhibition space in Neustifgasse 32 in Vienna, this cutlery was produced by hand in silver and silver plate until 1910-12. The service, which was in dotazione anche al Cabaret Fledermaus, fully reflects the search for functionality combined with extreme formal elegance and refined working of materials that are so typical of the Wiener Werkstatt. And if some contemporaries had reservations on the practicality of some of the pieces (the transversal concavity of the tablespoon was a controversial point), these were quickly dispelled by those who actually used them. Made in 18/10 stainless steel, the cutlery was reissued by Alessi in 2000.

With Slow Coffee set by Keiji Takeuchi, Alessi proposes an innovative exploration of coffee preparation methods through percolation, which completely preserves the sensory and organoleptic qualities of coffee. Sharp, yet with a touch of sensitivity and elegance. Linear, yet with an organic quality of plants. We intend to shift our familiar sensations with chopsticks onto cutlery.
