If you are a homeowner my suggestion would be to have a qualified electrician work with you for the installation. There maybe some things that need to be done with your circuits in the circuit breaker box as well-especially if your kitchen or bathroom is an older house. I had to replace a lot of the old wiring and circuits in the kitchen upgrade which was done for a house built in the 1950's. None of this stuff is hard to do-just ensure you use a qualified electrician, god parts and materials and budget for these items as well as the lighting. An average size kitchen will probably costs a total of about $2500 to add the LED lighting, wiring, circuits and other associated costs plus the electrician's labor. I DID NOT USE A GENERAL CONTRACTOR AS this was un-unnecessary from my standpoint. Some of you may want to use a GC but just get prepared for the change orders if you are remodeling and older house.
