Ice fishing is not just part of Inuit culture, it's also a true nature experience. With clear air, blue skies and bright sunshine on the glittering ice, one could almost think that the Eskimos are sitting on the ice for fun. But for our Eskimo Nutcracker it is much more. Ice fishing contributes to a large part of the basic food supply and he has to wait in part for many hours on the ice to return to the family with full buckets. But mostly he still enjoys it.
