I'm genuinely impressed with this Satco LED bulb-it's one of those small details that ends up making a big difference in a space. The clear filament design gives off a beautiful, classic glow that feels much more like a traditional incandescent than most LEDs. The warm 2700K color temperature is soft and inviting-not harsh or overly white-making it perfect for lamps where ambiance matters. What really stood out to me is how well it performs on a dimmer. It transitions smoothly without flickering or buzzing, which is something I've struggled with in other LED bulbs. It creates a really nice layered lighting effect depending on the time of day. Despite only using 4 watts, it still delivers solid brightness (about 350 lumens), comparable to a 40W incandescent, so you get efficiency without sacrificing light quality. I also appreciate that it's rated for enclosed fixtures and has a long lifespan (around 15,000 hours), so it's both practical and low-maintenance. Overall: If you're looking for a decorative bulb that actually looks good on (not just off), this is a great choice. It's especially ideal for visible fixtures, chandeliers, or statement lamps where the bulb itself is part of the design.

LED bulb’s warranty and product life statements are based on operating the LED lamp in environments with an ambient temperature of -20° C (-4° F) to a maximum of +45° C (113° F) and are warranted for a period of 3 years, based on 3 hours of use per day – unless otherwise noted on the product's packaging. Average rated life may vary depending on the application, use, fixture type, and environment. Not for use in vapor tight or sealed Jelly Jar type fixtures. LED replacement lamps are not compatible with all photocells, timers, and motion sensors and these devices can affect the performance of the products. Only LED-rated devices should be used and if not, the warranty can be voided.
