This window shade looks AMAZING in the ad; however, quality does not measure up. I bought this and another painted scene with the thought of the two scenes together making a type of "mural" in my sunroom. As stated, the shades were made of bamboo, but some of slats were not uniform in their fitting against the slats adjoining, so there were gaps. Also, the Roman shade design and "roll up" are not as easy as the video shows. At 5'3", reaching high enough to lift the shade to the embedded hooks would require me to use a step ladder to raise and lower the shades. Overall, even though the pictures are amazing (I literally spent HOURS online looking for just the right shades), I would not recommend these shades.
