You can see through it and through the cracks. Not 100% privacy. Easy to move, not heavy at all. Works if you're looking for a nice accent or a decorative piece. Not really for privacy.

This was the perfect focal point for a Japanese aesthetic guest room. The room is small so The screen will be wall mounted, covering much of the wall. Custom made altar table style nightstands and wood/paper lanterns will continue the theme. As will the bamboo blinds. I'm including a photo of a lantern so you can see how they'll go together and for scale. Love the screen!

It's quality. I personally am disappointed with the art - the waves look sort of "violent", so I never put it out (it's sitting in the garage), but I should've examined the artwork more closely.

We bought this for privacy in a loft bedroom, and it adds so much fun! It's actually made of art prints on canvas, and the large scale of these familiar images really makes an impact.
