I am sure it would work for something very light weight but not for the 36 lbs. it was advertised to support Pros: would work for light weight items Cons: very flimsey

I have two silk screens that are about 40 years old - they originally came with brackets very similar to this but have been lost over time. I ordered these so I could finally put the screen to use again. They're definitely not of the same quality that the original brackets were, but they get the job done. The metal is very thin and a slightly flimsy, but again, they serve their purpose. In the middle of the vertical piece that would run up the back of the screen there is a joint - this joint is very loose and cannot be tightened. This is what I mean by flimsy. The set I had before was made from slightly thicker metal and was more rigid - so once set straight - they didn't bend to the left and right making it more difficult to install. Pros: Good price for quality received. Cons: Visible eyelets for wall mounting. Very thin metal.
