Who would think this little hardware ball on the top and bottom of the hinge could make such a difference! It is beautiful! I have it in the gold They do need to be handled with care though so as the ball on the top and bottom will come off fairly easily.

Nice solid hinge. Edges are clearly machine cut but the radius is a nice touch. I accidentally ordered polished brass when I ment to order unlaquered. When I went to give it a slight aging patina (before I realized it was sealed) the ball tips tarnished but not the plates, so that tells me over time that part might not stay polished if that what you are going for. Overall still a good product.
