Looks just like the picture. We love it!!

This mantle is BEAUTIFUL! The grain, the routing, and the construction are all top quality. I love the grain so much, I’m having trouble deciding whether to keep it natural, stain it grey for a worn wood look, or paint it white to match my fireplace surround. This pretty thing arrived quickly, as usual (thank you Wayfair!), and was packaged perfectly not a scratch on it. It came with its own mounting bracket. You will need a drill, screws, nails, and a level. Very easy. I highly recommend.

The mantel came with no instructions and 2 peices of wood on the back that say remove, one is with screws the other is glued in . I removed the long peice with screws, i cant get the small one out yet unless I use a hammer to knock it out, Im also not sure what the small wood is for, trying to research how to hang this, there are no pre drilled holes so I no this heavy mantel can not just sit on top , Ill need to get some screws to screw mantel into the wood .. over all its nice looking.. i just wish it came with stuff for the price its at

Great quality, heavy and real hardwood. Unfortunately it was missing the french cleat or anything to hang it in. Had to use a 2x2, screw in the top and fill it with wood filler. Luckily it was getting painted and you can’t tell, but extra steps and time for installation.

Vague directions provided. Flimsy product that I had to pay a professional to install. Even the professional stated that the material is cheap, low quality and difficult to install.
