At first the valve worked like a new faucet by then within 2 weeks it has become sticky and leads me to not buy Kohler in the future🥺

This is the 2nd one this year. Along with all the other inferior parts sent to us on the "liftetime warranty" that never hold up (faucet heads, hoses, etc) we should have gone with Moen when we renovated our home.

It turns out that my slow flowing faucet was caused by tiny debris caught in a trap in the hose. Just google the problem and you’ll find a great YouTube video. It’s a ten minute fix.

you should sell these cartridges by the dozen given how often they need to be changed.

I installed a new Kohler kitchen faucet maybe 8 years ago. After several years the faucet valve became sticky to operate and made a squeaking noise when moved. I removed the handle and lubed the valve stem with WD-40. It did not have as much effect as hoped so I reapplied WD-40 and worked the valve motion repeatedly several times. It was better but still not smooth and quiet like new. I put the handle on and after a short period of normal use it became smooth and quiet. Now several years later it has started leaking from the handle when the valve is opened and recently it has begun to get sticky and squeaky again. I am hopeful that the purchase and installation of a replacement valve will be improved from the original valve and work for many years!
