I just bought these to replace the old-style full turn valves. They installed easily and smoothly, and work perfectly. However... the description does NOT warn me that Kohler has changed the direction. My faucets all close clockwise (both hot and cold) and I have an existing faucet with the newer 1/4 turn valves that close that way and are marked "cold". But now, to get clockwise close, I have to get the "hot" valves. Oops.

So easy to install, without any plumbing experience.

My home was built in 1976 and has four sinks and three showers fitted with Kohler faucet valves. I replaced all of the faucet valves with the new model 1/4 turn ceramic valves about 1-year ago. They function much better than the originals and the installation was straight forward.

The new 1/4 turn valvet is a great improvement over the old style valvet with washers. Not a hint of a drip without having to crank the valvet down very tight. Thanks to Kohler for developing this replacement!
