Stripes are silver and glittery rather than solid gray, which wasn’t apparent on the listing. Spot clean only makes them better suited for special occasion than regular use

Upon receiving the placemats, they were crisp in color and starchy and sturdy. I have used them more decoratively and they look great. I’ll be curious to see how they wash and if they retain their form. Having purchased placemats from the brand before, after the wash, don’t dry or else they may warp in size and dimension and instead like a sweater lay flat to dry and iron as needed and according to the label.
