I wanted a German Santa and I have purchased other Karen Didion Santas, but I was disappointed in this one. Despite good reviews from others, and the fact that I didn't see any other German Santas which I thought I would like, the hat on mine was taller than pictured, so it looks odd. In addition, the nutcrackers in the basket look odd, and they have a folded cardboard, almost like it's suppose to be a book, which looks odd. The clock seems to want to turn in the wrong direction, and the beer stein is rather plain. Overall, not very impressive.
