Buyer Beware!!!! This is a very nice trim - heavy & well made & I wish it worked for our new bathroom however, the rough in valve needed for the installation of this trim is INACCURATE on this website and also on the Grohe website. This trim requires a different rough in valve then the one listed. If you buy the rough in valve listed on the product description, you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO INSTALL THE PRODUCT. The correct rough in valve required for this product can be found on Grohes product specification sheet. Five stars for the trim itself . Zero stars for the inaccurate required part to install.

I purchased this valve and a number of other Grohe items for a full back remodel. While the trim looks fantastic, this particular valve has been a disappointment. When shutting off the water, there is no "stop". You have to move the handle exactly to the bottom or it will drip. It needs a detent or some other stop. Also, pressure balance is non-existent. It constantly scalds or freezes, requiring frequent water adjustment. So sorry I went with this valve.
