Great size for a size 4 paper filter, but the bottom really needs to be bigger. Anything less than a 5" diameter is not going to cover most of the larger coffee mugs. Love the 3 holes as the water moves through at a better speed than the single hole filters.

I did not know this was so big ( My fault ) for not reading the measurements right. But I will have to send it back.

If you want old timey coffee whose strength you can easily regulate manually, this is the ticket. We own both the #6 and #4 filters and the quality of the ceramic is solid. So far, no chips.

Noticed refinements in the design which have made this an even better coffee maker. Pros: simple and easily cleaned Cons: None that I can find.

Worked so good my college-age daughter "stole" it from me. Happy to buy another one. :)

I purchase this to use it as portable coffee maker. So I travel with my ground coffee bean and some filter, then I can make my coffee as long as I have access to hot water. Deliver was fast and packaging is great.
