These door knobs are awesome. We were trying to match as close as possible to the original doorknobs in the house. These are a little bit bigger than the original ones but work so much better. There is a good spring in the mechanism so it feels solid. I am totally digging these doorknobs. My husband has arthritis in his hands and it takes more of a grip to turn. The Glass doorknobs are a little easier for him to turn than the solid brass.
