These knobs were better quality than I hoped they would be, they look great on my painted (SW Dovetail) interior doors. Easy to install except for one thing. The bolts to hold the two sides together were very tight. I had to remove them after my first attempt, add some WD-40 to the part they screw into, screw the bolts all the way in before putting it back onto the door to open up the channel. After that they went together fairly well. Because of the angle of attaching the bolts and the extra force I had to use, some of the oil rubbed bronze color came off the screw head to show the metal underneath, though I doubt anyone else will ever notice. That only happened on one of the passage door knobs, the other I've installed went together fine, as well as the privacy knob I've installed. 6 more knobs to go.

We renovated an old house and we used these knobs in the addition of the house. They were similar to the original door knobs. They are quite beautiful. Our client was very happy with them.
