Bought 6 of the brass knobs 2 being privacy, and I was shocked at the quality. Heavy-duty, sturdy, and a beautiful finish. I do have old real wood doors that are a tad thicker than newer doors, but they fit just fine (I did measure). The only thing i cannot use due to the sizing is the “key” (not long enough) for the privacy knobs, but luckily a small L-wrench works to unlock.. and yes, I did accidentally shut the door while the lock was active, an got opened with ease using the L-wrench. Highly recommend these stunning
