Though the item arrived broken, Wayfair was very easy to work with to resolve my issue. I believe that the item was properly packaged for shipping but there may have been a hairline crack that caused the item to break during shipping. I'm not sure whether I will order a replacement for shipping due to the item being extremely fragile and I don't know how well the item will hold-up over time. I did give the item 5 stars for the ease in which Wayfair resolved my issue!
