This hood does exactly what I need it to do! It fit exactly how it was supposed to and it even gives the door a luxurious look now too. I feel much more secure sleeping at night knowing a child sized arm can no longer reach through and unlock my front door. I am a very happy customer.

This was to replace an existing mail slot that was just metal. It is solid brass and I was able to take it to my local refinisher and have it coated to match my door set. Came out nice, but I wish the screws were somehow concealed.
